CFWE Accomplishments
Since 2002, the Foundation has grown into a successful and well-respected non-profit organization. As a member, your contribution provides important support for the development of new publications, outreach efforts across the state, and critical operational needs. Our most significant accomplishments are due to the generosity of our members, including:
- Publication of nine Citizen’s Guides to educate the public on major water issues
- Annual river basin tours to network with water professionals and visit unique basin sites
- Four years of a professional development course for Colorado’s emerging water leaders
- Publication of our three-times-a-year Headwaters magazine
All members of the Colorado Foundation for Water Education receive:
- Peer Recognition – association with the only CO organization for non-biased water education and information
- Publications – FREE subscription to Headwaters magazine in addition to 10% discount on publications and event registrations
- Networking Opportunities – expand your network and meet leading professionals in the water resources field
- Tools to Succeed – obtain immediate resources to help respond to your water education needs and questions, including our CFWE membership packet and access to our e-newsletter
